An Atmospheric Journey Through the Desert documents the creative process behind my ongoing painting series Desert Nights. The book brings together travel experiences, painting, photography, architectural references and personal reflections, revealing how a collection of observations gradually developed into a coherent visual world.
The project began during a journey through Morocco, where the landscapes, abandoned settlements and changing light conditions inspired my fascination with desert environments. From there, the book follows an ongoing process of observation, research and experimentation, combining influences from architecture, cinema, literature and traditional oil painting.
Alongside finished artworks, the publication includes sketches, photographs, digital studies and visual references that shaped the development of the series. It also explores the use of artificial intelligence as a creative tool for research and concept development, while maintaining painting as the final artistic medium.
The book reflects my interest in atmosphere, landscape and the emotional experience of place. It captures the ideas behind Desert Nights and documents a process that continues to influence both my artistic and architectural work.
